Vice Presidents for January 2021
If you are reading this you have made it into 2021 THANK GOD! Looks like the vaccinations are here and we should be seeing some relief soon. This last year has been hard, we can not remember going through such tragedy and hope never to see again. But if we follow the science we should come through this and HOPEFULLY we will be stronger for it.
As of now we continue to look forward to the Rabbi’s messages and our weekly streaming Services for the Sabbath. No one ever tells you, but our Presidents have been keeping our Temple alive. Every week Merv asks for your donation sand for the members that have not rejoined who continue to put off paying their membership dues. We would not be able to continue, but 180 of 280 member shave made the commitment to the Synagogue. Now it’s up to you, you can be the part of our success or part of the reason for our failure.
We are doing what we can to keep the building up and that as always, thanks to Michael Canter. Trudy Lerner and Lani Moss and a small group of people have kept the Temple running so we owe them all our gratitude. I know most of you remember JFK and his speech, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country”.
Diastema (Spaces between teeth)Tetracycline Staining & Bruxism (Grinding)Malalignment Missing Teeth Enhancing Existing Smile That was back in the early 60s, today we are in a situation where over a 1/4 of million people have died and that number is growing geometrically, so we just need to keep looking for the good news. Let me say that the fact is we WILL see our way out of this pandemic. What happens beyond that is up to us so ask not what your temple has done for you, but what you can do for your temple (pay your dues).
So please get on board and join the team to keep our synagogue alive. Mary, Carol and I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Hanukkah and a much better 2021 for all of us. We wish you all HEALTH, HAPPI- NESS AND SUCCESSIN THE NEW YEAR 2021.
Your Vice Presidents
Carol & Jesse
