SALLY GEVIS was born and
raised in Montreal Quebec,
Canada and graduated from
Strathen High School in 1956.
She married her husband and
had three children; Lori, born in
1959; Mark, born in 1963; and
Brian, born in 1968.
When they grew up, they all
decided to move to Toronto,
Canada. They are all married
and have their own families.
She started working in Toronto and later got a job as an
executive secretary for the largest dress manufacturer in
Montreal. She then divorced her first husband, went on
vacation to the Catskill Mountains where she met her second
husband, Paul and they were married in 1983.
Sally and Paul moved to Century Village in Florida in 1989.
It was the best decision they ever made. After her husband
passed away, she joined the Sisterhood and became a member
of PPJC. She says that she loves it and has become
very active. She volunteers whenever she can and she feels
that she has found peace here.
Sally Gevis is one of our newest board members and will
be serving as chairman of the membership committee.
